Life is a welcome song
Through the waiting arms and painful thorns
The eyes which see it, looks with hope
Like a sailor’s heart which longs for the shore
To my heart which beats to its rhythm
It’s the winter grass crying for the lost lover
The restless soul which lives through life’s wrath
Living with troubled lies it screams to tear apart
Jostling in the longing pain, it cries out in a crowded space
Thousand ears, prefer not to hear
Till I find me, awake in someone’s arms
And I see truth, taking me apart
To the sanity of souls and comforts of hearts
I feel his presence cast all burdens apart.
The everlasting joy like the great river
Runs within, as it runs for ever
O wretched souls look to the heavens
With folded arms cry to him who listens
And the song shall be sung again
Thy life will welcome thee once again
Through the waiting arms and painful thorns
The eyes which see it, looks with hope
Like a sailor’s heart which longs for the shore
To my heart which beats to its rhythm
It’s the winter grass crying for the lost lover
The restless soul which lives through life’s wrath
Living with troubled lies it screams to tear apart
Jostling in the longing pain, it cries out in a crowded space
Thousand ears, prefer not to hear
Till I find me, awake in someone’s arms
And I see truth, taking me apart
To the sanity of souls and comforts of hearts
I feel his presence cast all burdens apart.
The everlasting joy like the great river
Runs within, as it runs for ever
O wretched souls look to the heavens
With folded arms cry to him who listens
And the song shall be sung again
Thy life will welcome thee once again
